Year 5 Science Museum
Year 5 had an exciting trip to the Science Museum to explore the Space exhibition. We had the opportunity to see a wide range of exhibits, including a full-sized replica of the Eagle lunar module, which famously carried the first astronauts to the Moon. We also got to explore authentic astronaut suits and take part in hands-on, interactive displays that brought the planets and outer space to life.
One of the highlights was learning about the unique challenges astronauts face while living and working in space. From how they breathe, eat, and drink to the clever ways they manage everyday tasks like using the toilet in zero gravity, it was amazing to see how science and innovation make life possible beyond Earth.
