Year 6 trip to Normandy
In September Miss Skinner and a group of Year 6 students had a tres magnifique time in Normandy in France.
Together with our Eko Trust friends from Kaizen Primary and Eko Pathways Schools we were able to practice our French skills, deepen our knowledge and understanding of D Day, and indulge in numerous pain au chocolats! Students enjoyed staying in a chateau and seeing parts of France they hadn't seen before like Mont Saint-Michel and Omaha Beach. The week was jam-packed full of interesting and inspiring visits to museums, cemeteries, markets, towns, and even a local primary school.
