Our home education offer and policy
During the current national lockdown Years 1-6 have their lessons each day on Google Classroom, and also have a 'live' registration each day to mark attendance - details of this are on your child's Google Classroom. To find our Early Years home learning pages please click the links below. School is open for a small number of key worker children, these parents and carers have been contacted separately about these arrangements.
You can find our home education policy in our home learning section here. The policy sets out our home education offer and parents and carers can find answers to some frequently asked questions about home education.
We are back on site from Monday 8th March 2021
The government has announced that primary schools will be back on site from 8th March, and we look forward to welcoming all our lovely learners back to school then. All previous arrangements will remain in place, including our staggered start times and early closing on Fridays for deep cleaning. See our website here for more information.
In the lead up to coming back on site we would like to remind our families of the laws about staying home during lockdown. Please ensure that you and your children are not having contact with anyone outside of your immediate household - this includes other family members (aunties, uncles, cousins etc) who do not live with you. The law is very clear that we should not be mixing - there is some more information on this below. Please stay at home so we can all be safe when we are back at school.

Welcome
Earlham is a very happy, caring and successful school where children achieve excellent results.
We believe your children deserve the very best education, so that they can fulfil their potential and become confident and enthusiastic learners who are well equipped to succeed at secondary school and beyond. Earlham is a genuine learning community; our staff continually focus on how to improve teaching and learning, which ensures our high standards.
Whilst academic achievement matters, that’s only part of what we value at Earlham. We think of ourselves as a large, extended ‘family’, where all children and their parents and carers can find a place to belong. Our broad curriculum provides lots of experiences and opportunities both in class and beyond to enrich learning and enable children to develop the skills and confidence they need to be successful in every aspect of their lives.
We hope that our website gives you a flavour of life at Earlham. You are very welcome to visit us to find out more.
