World Book day
Our children celebrated World Book Day in style, by creating some fantastic costumes at home. The children (and maybe some of their mums and dads!) worked hard to make their fantastic outfits. We had several Mr Bumps, Mary Poppins and Cats in Hats, an inspired Elmer the Elephant and Badger from Wind in the Willows and even Wednesday Addams made an appearance. Well done to all of you for helping us celebrate the joy and pleasure that reading brings us.
We swapped classes in the afternoon, and teachers read a favourite story to class that was not their usual class. This was a great way for children to spend time with teachers they don't usually see, and to get to know each other better.
