Interfaith Week
In autumn term our school celebrated Interfaith Week. Learning about the world's major faiths is an important part of our RE curriculum, and going out to visit places of worship from different faiths is a great way to bring our learning to life.
Children visited a Sikh gurdwara, a Jewish synagogue, a Christian church, an Islamic mosque, a Hindu temple and a Buddhist centre.
Our children learn about British values and the importance of tolerance and inclusion, and they know that the right to practice your religion of choice is protected by British laws.
